Before I formed you in the womb,
I knew you.
Before you were born,
I set you apart.
I first met the Lee family when I was in high school. Athen Lee and his brother-in-law, Chris Williams, taught at our local high school and coached sports. Coach Lee and Coach Williams are salt-of-the-earth people, and so are their families. Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing them can attest to this. Coach Lee and his wife, Lindsay, have two beautiful children, Reagan and Bryson.
Bryson just happened to be born with hydrocephalus. Coach Lee and Lindsay have updated their friends and family on social media regarding Bryson's health since before he was born. They end each update with "God is good all the time, but especially today." Reading this at the end of each post has been such an inspiration to me. How many times do I fail to recognize how good God is, even on the good days? Through all the doctor visits, hospitalizations, and daily challenges, they choose to give God honor and praise even in the most difficult moments.
Sometimes we need reminders. Reminders of God's grace. Reminders of His promises. Reminders of His hope. The Lee family's journey has been that reminder to me.
This piece is called the "Bryson Lee" print. It is meant to remind people of God's goodness and what He is accomplishing through precious Bryson and his family. All proceeds from this print will be given to the Lee family in support of Bryson. The letters are in blue to spread awareness of hydrocephalus.
Each 5x7 print is $10. Each print is packaged with an acid-free cardboard backing and a protective sleeve. All proceeds from this print will be given to the Lee Family. This print will be available under the Claire Sanders Calligraphy tent at Madison Fest on Saturday, April 30 from 10am-4pm. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your print or to purchase one by mail. Thank you!
